I'm going to say this very quietly because I don't want them to revolt, but my shins have been feeling much better for some reason. Possible reasons:
1. I made a doctor's appointment. Murphy's Law.
2. I've not been wearing heels for the past 4 days.
3. I took 2 days of rest.
4. I did an alternative workout to running (kickboxing), possibly adding some strength to the muscles around the hurt part???
At any rate, I'm not going to dwell, I'm just going to enjoy! Yesterday C25K W6D2 went in the books:
-5 min warmup
-run 10 minutes
-walk 3 minutes
-run 10 minutes
I felt phenomenal. WOOT.
Today I'm going to speedwalk (with full arm-pumping dorkiness) on the treadmill, and tomorrow morning before WW weigh in I will be tackling W6D3 (25 minutes of straight running, y'all...let's do this!)
