How sweet it isn't

Ugh. I was refilling the sugar bowl this morning when this happened.

How do you even clean up a mess like that without making more of a mess? Add water and it's a sticky disaster. Don't use water and it's everywhere. Under your feet, sticking to the counter, the cats, ev.er.y.where.

I was truly stumped (except for the option of the vacuum which I'll probably go with but didn't want to use at 6:30am), so I just left it there with a note for Ryan so he wouldn't think I was a negligent slob.
