I'm intrigued about the article of clothing known as a romper. Seeing it worn with sky-high platform sandals and funky jewelry makes me feel like the girl wearing it is probably cool as shit. Also, the name indicates it is a fun time all around (who doesn't like to romp?) However, I've never really seen one in real life, so I'm curious to know what the 'real folks' have to say about them. Also...curious as to how it goes on and off, and whether or not it causes camel toe.
Yesterday I asked my guy friend* what he thought about them, and our conversation went like this:
me: also...are rompers a no-no for girls?G: rompers=boner cityme: nuh-uh...for serious?G: uh, yeah
*I asked this particular guy friend because I trust his taste in the sense that he himself is always impeccably dressed; however, I should note that he once paid his own money to have his lab coat tailored when we used to work together because he thought it would be 'more flattering.' Make what you want of that information.
Either way, I ordered the above romper today from Old Navy to give it a test trial. It will be in my greedy little hands tomorrow, because why get items shipped free in 5 days when you can have it tomorrow for an extra 22 dollars?

ReplyDeleteI saw it on a no-hips/no-boobs teenager and it looked great. Oh and Emmy has one and she rocks the chubby thighs. Have yet to see it on someone post-puberty. Can't wait to hear.
