Full Disclosure Friday (gullible fool edition)

Okay, okay, fine. Back by popular my own demand, I’m reinstating restarting Full Disclosure Friday.
Today’s topic came about from a family discussion with my siblings about the things our dad told us when we were little that we were gullible enough to believe.
As a child, I would make twice or thrice annual trips up to Canada with my parents  to see the fam-bam, and as we drove up through the nothingness that is I-95 in northern Maine, we would inevitably see these:

Know what they are, per my dad? BUFFALO.

Know how I justified the fact that they had no heads, tails, or legs? I ALWAYS HAD PET HAMSTERS, SO I ASSUMED THEY WERE CURLED UP SLEEPING.

Know how long I believed it? UNTIL I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL.

Oh haaaaaaaaaaaay buffalo!!!

  1. That just made me laugh out loud :) My parents made me believe that they didn't do any illegal activity
