I didn't feel awesome yesterday, which was Day 3 of eating Paleo. I felt kind of run down and had a persistent headache throughout the day, but I'm told this is normal. It's basically my body's reaction to the bender it has been on for the last several years. Nothing I couldn't handle, just not awesome. The food, however, was fantastic!
What I ate:
Breakfast: Smoothie made with frozen fruit and coconut milk (no picture because I sucked it down like a baby giraffe with one of those giant baby bottles the zoo keepers feed them with).
Lunch: Mixed leftovers, beef bourguignon plus mashed cauliflower
Early evening snack: 'Things that are round' (cherry tomatoes, greek olives and grapes)
Dinner: Paleo meat sauce (grass fed beef, carrots, celery, onion, tomatoes) poured right into roasted spaghetti squash like a bowl (fun food alert!) You can find recipe here...I loved it.
