A little recap...

Having dinner at Legal's last week: mahi mahi, cauliflower puree, olives and sun dried tomatoes, with fried artichoke spear thingies. Terrible picture of the most delicious thing ever.

• Woke up, got out of bed and saw the cute little pile of cat puke just outside of my bedroom door BEFORE I stepped in it (a gift for locking them out of my bedroom for the night).

•  Made an impromptu decision to step on the scale. I HAVE LOST JUST UNDER 10 POUNDS SINCE STARTING PALEO

Nooooo shit!

•  Cooked this delicious breakfast for myself in under 5 minutes (eggs, spinach and tomatoes sauteed with coconut oil, sliced tomato on the side)

 

• Drove all the way to work with less than no gas, hoping to save 30 cents per gallon at the Stop and Shop gas station.

Jussssssst kidding. I do have cats, and I do squeeze the absolute bazongas out of them (in the most loving of ways, of course)...but I don't consider myself to be a crazy cat lady. Well, at least not all the time. However, I was just looking through my phone this morning and realized I do take some random pictures of the gatos. I also realized this would be an easy way to ease myself back into blogging regularly (because duh, pictures are easier to post than words).

A day in the life

This is Sophia (at least the back end of her). I have no idea if she does this on a regular basis or if this was her maiden voyage into the sofa sea, but I managed to get play-by-play footage. This is my life at home now.
